About this tour
The only city that Alexander the Great besieged but failed to conquer: Termessos. It is situated on the ridge of Mount Güllük at an altitude of 1050 meters. There is a steep path of about 1 km between the parking lot and the city — this tour requires some fitness, but in return offers an ancient city far from the crowds of tourists. The theater at the summit is carved directly into the rock; behind the stage there is a view of the cliff and the mountains. On the way back, we take a short nature walk in Mount Güllük National Park.
